Checked baggage items must not exceed 23 kg / 50.7 lb in the Economy and Premium Economy cabins or 32 kg / 70.5 lb in the Business and La Première cabins. This information is indicated on your trip summary.

We can collect your baggage from your home or hotel and deliver it to the check-in counter at the airport at a reasonable charge.

 

ITEMS PROHIBITED ON BOARD

For your safety, some items are strictly prohibited on board. These items will be confiscated at baggage control.

ITEMS PROHIBITED IN ALL BAGGAGE

– Matches, lighters and lighter fluid. 
– Ink cartridges. 
– Electrolyte batteries. 
– Lithium batteries with a power rating above 160 Wh (see the Conditions for transporting batteries and lithium batteries for more information).
– Segways and electric unicycles (even with batteries removed), as well as related electric vehicles (hoverboards, skateboards, scooters, etc.).
– Fireworks, firecrackers, sparklers, signal flares, cap or toy guns, firelighters and tear gas.
– Camp stoves, gas canisters and scuba oxygen tanks.
– Paints, varnishes and lacquers.
– Toxic, infectious and radioactive materials.
– Chemical products, fertilizers, weed killers, pesticides and insecticides.
– Paint removers, bleach and chlorine.
– Inflammable liquids such as fuel, thinners, solvents and acetones.
– Mercury thermometers and barometers.


ITEMS PROHIBITED IN HAND BAGGAGE

– Blades and any sharp, blunt, metallic or non-metallic items that may be used as weapons (for example: nail scissors, razor blades, etc.).
– Firearms.
– Hunting and sport weapon cartridges and ammunition.
– Perfume bottles exceeding 100 ml / 3.4 fl. oz.
– Cosmetic aerosol containers exceeding 100 ml / 3.4 fl. oz.

ITEMS PROHIBITED IN CHECKED BAGGAGE

– Underwater diving flashlights (without battery and/or bulb).
– E-cigarettes and spare batteries for their use.

 

TRANSPORTING LIQUIDS IN THE CABIN

You can transport liquids in your hand baggage as long as they are: 

-In small quantities (100 ml / 3.4 fl. oz. max. per product).
-Placed in a clear, sealed plastic bag (i.e. freezer bag) up to 1 liter / 34 fl. oz. in size. The bag must be sealed and all items must fit easily inside. A single plastic bag is permitted per passenger.

This rule applies for departing and connecting flights in any of the 28 European Union countries or 50 other countries.

 

LIQUIDS ACCEPTED WITH NO RESTRICTIONS

You can transport the following liquids with you:

-Medical substances necessary for your health – please note: airport security agents may ask you to verify the nature of the substance (possibly by tasting).
-Specific nutritional substances needed for travel (for lactose intolerance, gluten allergies, etc.).
-Medicines prescribed by a doctor, accompanied by official proof of their necessity (prescription, medical certificate in your name, etc.).
-Baby food.

 

REGULATIONS APPLYING TO ALL BAGGAGE

FOOD OILS

Food oils are permitted on board. In both hand baggage and checked baggage, these products must be placed in a sealed container that respects the required European security measures.

In the cabin, food oils must be placed under the seat in front of you in a hermetically sealed container (100 ml / 3.4 fl. oz max. in a resealable, clear plastic bag).

MEDICAL SYRINGES

Medical syringes are permitted on board. You must show a prescription for these syringes to complete the airport security screening process.

BATTERIES AND LITHIUM BATTERIES

Transporting batteries and lithium batteries may be dangerous without taking special precautions. Please see the Conditions for transporting batteries and lithium batteries for more information about travel restrictions and precautions to follow.

 

REGULATIONS APPLYING TO CHECKED BAGGAGE

PERFUMES AND AEROSOLS

Perfumes and aerosols are permitted in checked baggage. These items must not exceed 2 kg / 4.4 lb or 2 liters / 33 fl. oz. per passenger and 0.5 kg / 1 lb or 0.5 liters / 17 fl. oz. per item.

FIREARMS

Blades, firearms (unloaded) and similar items are permitted in your checked baggage, as long as you let us know you are bringing these items when booking your ticket and follow all police and customs regulations in your destination country.

CARTRIDGES AND AMMUNITION FOR HUNTING AND SPORT RIFLES

Cartridges and ammunition are permitted in your checked baggage as long as you let us know you are bringing these items when booking your ticket and store them in a hard case. We also recommend you review the police and customs regulations in your destination country.
